The gantries as the Third surface

My research focus is on my passion for mobility in the city. I analyzed the relations between the rails in Brussels and their environment.

I have decided to work on the connections with the stations to develop the common notion of a public shelter, and to write about "the right to the station" in my dissertation paper.

I have worked on the Bockstael's subway and train stations in Laeken. The goal was to valorization of this neighborhood diversity, to provide a better image of the area to the habitants and to the passengers by working on dynamic strategies rather than static ones as the existent, and to create connections between the users and the infrastructures that will empower people to adapt the spaces and to make it a continuous resilient area.
